Crystal Palace vs. Fulham match thread

Have we anyone that can take a corner ...and land it in the box .....for a professional player, shouldn't be that hard!!!
Particularly when they take the time to make sure the ball is precisely an inch over the line before taking it.
And then raise one arm which means "I'm going to cross it", or raise both arms which means "I'm going to cross it".

The game changed as soon as Hughes came off, then deteriorated as we started to look more and more tired. As everyone has said, the subs are 10 minutes too late.

Glasner reminds me a bit of Hodgson insofar as he has spells where he is hoping for something not to happen rather than taking the bull by the horns and making positive changes.
He never used to be like this. When he joined us it was all about quickly getting ball forward and trying to win games. He seems to have gone more “pragmatic” (passive) this season.

But the game was drawn by yet another great goal by Fulham. They always score good ones against us. And it sums up the difference in as much as they’ve got multiple midfielders who can do that. We don’t have one

We couldn’t push on and ended up clinging on. It’s been said a 100 times but without Munoz and Sarr we’re quickly found out as lacking quality and attacking threat.

Take the point and move on. We really didn’t deserve to win that game to be fair.

JP, other than the goal I don’t remember him doing anything else, no threat and no holding it up. When he started to come good, at the end of Roys time and then when Ollie took over, his foundation was his hold up play. Admittedly at that point he was playing Eze and Olise in and then later Eze and Sarr.
He needs to get back to basics to find his mojo.

That said if ever there was a sign the players are knackered it was the last half hour. Absolutely spent.

Let’s hope more than Brenda comes in quickly.

That was a game we should have lost. Clyne and Mitchell played well, Wharton and Lerma had moments and JPM scored. Other than that we were poor again. Pino is dreadful, he should be dropped. Deveney worked hard but no way is he good enough to start. OG is a problem with his tactical inflexibility and making subs way too late. His decisions are starting to hinder our ability to win rather than helping us. Sosa is an awful player.

hmmmm… happy with the point. It stops the losing streak and gives us something to build on. Was trying to lip read Hughes comment to Glasner, but he was limping back to the changing room - doesn’t look great 🙈

With Johnson arriving and Munoz and Sarr returning hopefully soon, we should be back at the races.

We’ve got a mental block when it comes to shooting we turn good chances to get a shot off into tiki taka bullshit football.

Much better from Devenny today, at last a goal for JPM and slight improvement from Pino.

I hope Brennan shows them all how to score.
