War in Ukraine

Shakespeare Henry IV part 1

"So shaken as we are, so wan with care, Find we a time for frighted peace to pant And breathe short-winded accents of new broils To be commenced in strands afar remote. "

Henry IV was a ruler who had lots of domestic problems so right at the start of the play he tell us his plan is to start a foreign war to distract from his internal issues.

Shakespeare called it 400 years ago and it is rule 1 of every leader since then. If you are in trouble at home pic a fight with a foreigner. Keep your eyes on Starmer.

Yes, Shakespeare called it 400 years ago.
Most called it much more recently.
There are some who never will call it and are beyond saving, who will hate who they are told to hate, fight who they are told to fight. They are not hard to spot.

A further observation: It takes a special sort of psychopath to sacrifice thousands of lives to save their own political career.

I don't want to sound like some kind of left wing revolutionary but it's the wealth elites looking to protect themselves against their native populations......Essentially they want the master/slave relationship where they can use AI and digital technologies to control your spending, opinions and essentially have a western version of the Chinese social credit system......with the difference being that the Chinese actually care about their populations remaining Chinese, whereas our elites have Utopian social ideals that are unworkable.

A lot to cover there!
Just honing in on this paragraph in particular, because it highlights for me why the old concepts of 'left' and 'right' are now obsolete.
The elites are using a combination of communism (Chinese digital Id, social credit concepts), ultra capitalism (ruled via Davos and the Bilderberg group), conservatism (deference to elites) sprinkled with the trappings of social liberalism (woke politics, etc).
All of it is a sham. They simply pick and choose elements from whichever flavour best serves their interests and they can best use to manipulate and control us. Only the gullible and naive continue to fall for it.

Similarly, the ordinary people are realising that the old concepts of 'left' and 'right' are traps that keep us distracted.
Many on the left now realise that mass immigration is just a means to beat down the native population, that feminism was just a ruse to destroy the nuclear family.
While many on the right now realise they were respectful and deferential to institutions that hate them and don't serve their interests at all (everything from the Royal Family to the Judiciary and Police force).

Are you quoting Tommy Robinson?

No. Why? Did he say something similar?
The phrase 'liberal democracy' is not exactly unusual - you used it yourself above.

And to be fair, people from around the world of every political persuasion have been shocked by the online arrest figures for the UK (which are for a range of subjects, including Gaza).

The figures are shocking, don't you agree?

There was an article in the Evening Standard in September with precisely the same numbers being critiqued for accuracy and the source was Tommy Robinson.

Your post about Abramovich passing the fit and proper was inaccurate too.

You could always check the government's own figures
https://lordslibrary.parliament.uk/select-communications-offences-and-concerns-over-free-speech/

Or you could check how the issue has been highlighted in numerous mainstream sources, including the Times.

Or you could sit in your arse making weasly insinuations instead.

Your post not mine, I just asked if the source was Tommy Robinson.
