So you've never seen this group at Selhurst Park in 25 years but you seem adamant they are Palace supporters?
Well hopefully they aren’t! They didn’t seem to have any interest in actually supporting us in Poland.

I was there in Strasbourg and I appreciate you not condoning the violence that some of us endured there. However, i couldn’t have been closer and we lost a lot of drink as the HF pushed through our tables to get at their adversaries. At no point, did I see, hear or record any racist behaviour. That’s not to say it didn’t happen but it was not overt or loud. There was no indication of any tensions between fans before suddenly the handbag throwing commenced. It wasn’t pretty and there were no winners, followed by a very negative report by the Guardian newspaper and you know which side they sit! There are two groups of supporters who can’t stand the sight of each other and I witnessed that for the first time at Nottingham Forest away 2 years ago. Therefore I would suggest this has been boiling for some time and is not an infiltration of Palace supporters as some would want us to believe. If the only solution is that both sets of fans who were involved in the violence get banned and let us Palace supporters just go to the football which is our passion.Still desperate to pretend nothing has happened despite plenty of eye witnesses to the behaviour. Just because people don’t want to report incidents to the club and/or police doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
If this place wasn’t just a graveyard for those banned from the BBS you could all go on there to read the equivalent thread on there.
No one is condoning the HF reaction in Strasbourg. Very few seem to have anything to say about the Stop The Boats crew who seem to have very little interest in supporting Palace (unlike the HF who literally don’t stop during the game) and just want to pile into the HF instead because they have an agenda against them.
It was very clear in Lublin who the agitators were.

I take you on your word that offensive songs about JP were sung in the pub. But there is no evidence they were actually Palace fans.
There is no evidence they were the same group that were involved with HF in Strasbourg.
There is no evidence any racism started the trouble.
There are a lot of holes in your story.
We do know these two groups have been at it on and off for a long time and only recently the racism stuff has emerged.

It’s obvious why we are discussing politics on this thread. You’re right I don’t have to read it.
But I shouldn’t have the option of reading all this political boll*cks on ‘Palace talk’.
I look on here to have a quick catch up on Palace stuff
Haven’t you lot got enough areas to be talking about your left/right wing nonsense.

Reading the recent posts on this thread, it is appears that the majority are anti HF.
I've always considered them to be more an asset when it comes to supporting the team, the Tifos etc. But I think they are wrong when they try to make non-football - ie Political - statements. As I and others have said, football and politics don't mix.
As regards the Addo v HF issue, I consider myself fortunate not to have witnessed or got caught up in the violent confrontations that have occured over the last few years. But as I previously posted, my son and a mate of mine both saw the fight at half time in Strasbourg.
In Dublin, two friends of mine, in different parts of the stadium, told me they witnessed racist abuse from a section of people towards some of our own players. They also said that those sections seem more interested in the HF than they were watching the game. Those in the Shelbourne end all left around about the hour mark.
Another friend of mine, who posts on HOL from time to time, ( yes, I'm up to four now some of you might struggle with that ! ) told me that he was in the same bar as some HF and ended up talking with someone he considered to be a '' senior member '' . My friend had a conversation around the HF focussing on football and ditching the politics. Well received apparently but let's see if it changes anything.
So my position is this ;
I don't condone the violence that has occured. That's not want I want at my football club.
I'd like to see the HF concentrate on what they do best, supporting the team. Leave the Politics out of it.
The Addo Boys add absolutely no value whatsoever. If we can get shot of them and be left with a non-political HF , that would be my preference.

Dan, you seem to be close to the action on this topic so can you just enlighten me on a few things. The Palestinian flag isn’t a political banner and there isn’t and, as far as I am aware, ever been any, affiliation with St Pauli.
What relevance did it have at a Palace game? Have we suddenly changed our colours? The Palestinian flag isn’t a political banner and there isn’t and, as far as I am aware, ever been any, affiliation with St Pauli.

It's hard to believe, but of course if true, the likes of Dan and his lefty friends would use the stupidity of a handful of morons to condemn Reform, or any other aspect of right wing politics.I pretty much agree all round. I find it astonishing our fans would abuse our own players.

The same AI that couldn't count the number of r's in the word Strawberry? Hmm, time for a new hastag I think: #kickAIoutoffootballI put your theory into ChatGPT and got the following:
I don't see what point there is in racists supporting Palace. We've had black players probably longer than almost anyone else. It's not as if the demographic of the area is about to change anytime. It's never going to be what it was in the past. Whilst some might not like that, you have to accept the facts. Racists should really go and support someone else - which I know is a bit of a cliche but I think we all know Palace are always going to have a lot of black players.
Why have they been banned? Wrong political views?Still desperate to pretend nothing has happened despite plenty of eye witnesses to the behaviour. Just because people don’t want to report incidents to the club and/or police doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.

think youve hit the nail on the head here.Dan, you seem to be close to the action on this topic so can you just enlighten me on a few things.
Firstly the display of the Palestinian flag was political in my view; it is not uncommon to wave the flag of our players who are from overseas (Colombian flag, for example) but we don't have anybody in our squad from Palestine and the colours of that flag are not representative of our own shirt colours. Hence it was a political statement, and due to the anniversary of the 7th October attack would have upset people.
Secondly, from my time on the Holmesdale terrace (that's terrace, not the two-tier stand), the Addington crowd seemed to 'run' parts of that area. So, has this animosity between the Addo and the HF always been there as one feels overtaken by the other, or is it a new thing, potentially brought about the display of the Palestinian flag?
Personally, I cannot understand the goading of our own black players, so would agree that something needs to change there. Again, is this recent or has this been witnessed in the past?
