Woke is alive and well

at school in the 1970's and 1989's, my first education on biology and reproduction was around 6 years old. Largely in relation to animals. It wasn't until I was 10 that we got sex education in relation to humans. Ok, things change, and mostly for the better.
I've seen advertised at a theatre "Children's Queer Lit Quarterly". A stage show for everyone with no age guidance or restrictions, promoting books such as "it's not all about rainbows" and "Gemma's two dads".
I just think this is the sort of thing that preys on mentally challenged adults and their exploited offspring.
I was thinking of doing my own hetrosexual production for everyone, entitled "Life : It's all about big tits and cocks". Thoughts Appreciated 😁👍

Can we have the feminised version too, please?

It's all about big cocks and tits.....

An overlooked detail in the Burke case is that Irish authorities emptied his bank accounts to pay court fines. They are now threatening to seize cars and property of him AND family members.

This is the direction we are heading. It's why the authorities want Digital ID and Digital currency. Robbing us will be so much easier.

A job they choose while either knowing the laws they were enforcing or choose to continue in despite those laws being used to punish normal people.

I'm not as pro Police as I once was.

I see where you and mcahuna are coming from. But some of these police officers have mortgage, rent and families to feed. Sometimes it's just not as easy to change jobs or careers as we would like.

I'm sure some police officers take glee in arresting or warning people about social media posts and I am sure there are some that have to do it through gritted teeth.

I do understand this however it is still a moral cowardice, is it not?

Many professions, including Police, have a wider Oath or professional ethics standards that they are expected to adhere to.
And of course acting within the law applies to all of us.
Sometimes 'My boss told me to do it' simply doesn't cut it.

The self interest 'I have a family to feed' angle can quickly backfire too. It's not unheard of for whole departments to end up being in trouble for their working practices/culture.

Lets hope they think their actions through.

Your point is taken.

Yeah, but how long does sympathy like that last?

I could tell that one of the officers who came to my door, after being reported by someone on Hol years ago.....She certainly looked embarrassed (though that can also be a tactic to get you to incriminate yourself....not that I'd done anything wrong). The guy though....not so much.

If you are part of an evil system....it's hard to have sympathy.

There are other jobs in that field that don't involve arresting and punishing people for being normal as has happened with this Irish guy.

Well that rules me out of getting a starring role! Although I have been called a tit on occasions

If you're going to be called a tit, I guess you'd want to be called a hard tit.

Everyone likes a hard tit.

I certainly wouldn't want to be called a hairy tit.

Does anyone like a hairy tit? I bet Owen Jones likes a hairy nipple.

I completely agree with you.
I probably would have the same knock on the door if I had my real name and identity stored on this and on X. I can only imagine what you went through back then. It's really not nice.

My view would come from friends and family who would work in law enforcement. There's a lot of eye rolling and gritted teeth. It's certainly a job I would not do or be able to do.

TBF I thought the Garda handled it well and did look somewhat embarrassed
The gards are not happy with the judicial system. Nor is anybody else. Except the judge who claimed 53,000 on expenses.
It's a revolving door system. Most don't even go in through the door in the first place.
As for Burke - it is contempt of court in that he's not following a ruling to stay away from the school. He could also apologise and that would be that. Frankly, I find martyrs a little ridiculous. He's made his point and it's not like unions or other teachers are backing him.

Someone on here reported you?!
For what?

Did you ever find out who it was?
