A failed asylum seeker has appeared in court charged with raping a woman in Bournemouth.

Mohammed Fathi Eltbie allegedly attacked the woman, who was unknown to him, in a wooded area off Maxwell Road on 5 November.

Appearing at Poole Magistrates' Court on 14 November, Eltbie confirmed his name and date of birth with the assistance of an interpreter.

Egyptian, asylum claim refused January 2025. Perhaps the tourist trade in Egypt is dying down so he needed to find fun and employment elsewhere
 
Quite recently in a Public House (Not local to me) I got on my 'Soapbox' about the "Invasion" of "illegal immigrants" arriving on our shores and broadened the subject to asylum hotels etc etc. My comments were delivered with some asperity and unrelenting invective was very much in evidence.
Some scruffy galoot with a scrofulous beard did not take kindly to my comments and my response was to tell him in no uncertain terms to go forth and multiply.
I suspect he had a "Refugees Welcome" placard at home.
According to this blighter I was a member of the 'Far-Right' infiltrating his local establishment !!

Just lip service. What is temporary? They may not get indefinite leave to remain but that doesn’t meant to say they will be removed. Don’t forget all those who have suddenly discovered Christianity and those who, despite having wives and children, have to come to realise they are gay. They will never be removed

Different rules back then. Mr. Pooter wasn't allowed in the pub because he came from Holloway so Montmorency could have had a problem.

Generally pre 'spoons especially in the countryside dogs a status in pubs as man's best work companion, in City Centres and gastro pubs that sell "crushed potato" aka mash (unbelievable) that is where the difficulty lies.
