Marc Guéhi

If Guehi reports to the England camp then he is kidding Palace over his injured foot. If this happens it might be a sign that relations between him and OG are strained possibly over the Alkmaar incident. I feel less worried about it since Canvot’s performance yesterday and with Riad returning to training.
that is standard players report to England camp then they can access the injury on whether its long term , he is a important cog in the England team, so dont read to much into him going to the England camp if he does

Or it might be that Steve Parish asked MG to test fly a new prototype kite that will be hitting the club shop if trials are successful: lurid red and blue, CPFC in big letters and can be seen for miles and miles. Thing is it was a bit gusty and Marc tweaked a muscle trying to reel it back in. Doc says he'll need a little rest and should be fine after the England game.

Agreed.

MOTD said Palace don't know what the injury is so maybe the England medical team can help diagnose the problem.

I don't see this as a bad thing, if he is injured he still has to report and maybe the facilities and backroom staff can assist.

I don’t think the England squad treatment team should have any say in what Guehi’s situation is, he is contracted to Palace, our team decide whether he is fit or not, Guehi has no say, I am sure he wants to play but, whoever pays the piper calls the tune.

OG described the injury as a badly bruised bone.

Maybe it’s protocol that Guehi needs to be assessed by the England medical team to ensure his club aren’t pulling a fast one, but I don’t see a problem other than the inconvenience of having to do that

Maybe Tuchel has finally realised he is England's best defender and is desperate to get him fit for one of the games?

Is it such a bad thing that the guy gets a couple of weeks rest under his belt before our mammoth set of fixtures kick in?

On his current performances - he will be one of the first players on the list going to the World Cup.

IMO its a blessing in disguise. Best part of 2 weeks before our next game.

And if he isn't ready, we know Canvot came come in and do a job.

Tuchel has said he will not be fit for Serbia but hoping to be fit for Albania.

I take it as a positive sign that he is still in the camp as if he was a just an injured squad player he would have been sent home.

Not happy with this. No way would a different club be releasing an injured player. I suggest Guehi is not following club orders.
Seems fine to me. As TT said, if he's not able to practice on Friday or Saturday he won't travel.

If he is practicing he's probably fine, plus has almost a week to recover after the Albania match.
