Loaned-Out Players

As far as I know, yes.

Lovely bloke but I'd suggest we need to apply his experience elsewhere - our track record on loans in recent years is pretty dismal.

A couple of years back I had a tour of the training ground, and spent 5 mins or so chatting to Brighty.

It sounded like (at least in England) you stick your players on a loan database, and wait for a club to come to you.

At the time I thought it sounded like such a lazier-faire way of managing young players. I would have hoped he'd have a network of coaches and managers on speed dial, all at different levels and a plan for each player. He made it sound like it was much more 'hope'

Both keepers have done well, Imray has been unlucky with injuries, and Jesurun is scoring in Turkey
Whitworth's done well, but, Goodman has only just got back into Huddersfield's starting XI after his silly red card, end of Aug(?). He was also an un-used sub early hours of this morning in a 0-0 draw with Ecuador, Canada also had a player sent off in the 6th minute. Here's the latest "loan report" from the club . . .

Goodman received a 'Red' in the 1st half of Barnsley v Huddersfield at the end of August.
He was replaced by Lee Nicholls who is a capable goalkeeper.
