The bbc, again.

Didn't he use to run the Global Village by Charing Cross station?
I genuinely think he just got paid to shoot the breeze and write some opinions. A bit like being paid to post on online forums. Guntri? Where's my cheque?
Imagine a future where the HOL is philosophy. The only remnant of human thought remaining. Wisbech would likely be seen as the capital of philosophy. Like a modern day ancient Greece.
Philosophy and philosophers are great. I want to be one. The job centre said no however. I gave them some of my thoughts. They called the police.

I used to watch it a lot. Not anymore. The audience is either organised to have barely anyone on the right or lots of them lie and say they are when they aren’t. In some places you get a decent representation and the liberal MP gets the response they deserve.

Anyway, that’s one programme a week. GB News has an opposing view on for many hours a day. Many hours a day.
No audience for Newsnight. Are you thinking Question Time?

Oh yes I got mixed up. I used to watch both, not now. But my point still stands. Question Time is ONE hour. BBC News is on 24 hours and biased the whole time. GB News has an opposing view on all night. He or she sits on the right as you look at the tv, everyday night, same place, always one there.

I hope you realise that the Earth does warm and cool in a cycle and has done so many times.
We are currently in a warming period but that will end at some point. On previous occasions that had meant an ice age that resulted in a 2 mile high ice sheet across Northern Europe.

Are you sure global warming is the biggest problem?

I’d say it was the pollution of our oceans.

That warming period reached its peak 10000 years ago.

And are always given the same amount of time to express their views, saying they are invited on to be ridiculed was an idiotic remark, considering one of the regular guests is a serving Labour MP. They have some rabid guests on, mainly left wing but some reform as well, which leads to highly charged debates. Perhaps more should watch it rather than just slag it off because they are right wing. To say it’s not a news channel was also ridiculous, it brings more news on the subjects people want to hear about than any other, hence they are the most popular NEWS channel

Allegedly doctored twice on different programmes 🤔 lots of “mistakes/misjudgements” going on.
Newsnight employee Whistleblower, highlighted issue and basically told to shut the f up.
Wissie was right, things are moving a pace but probably not in the direction he wants

I have never seen GB News so this is just a general comment.

Who decides what is the news?

On Talksport the headline news is often sports related which barely raises a mention on other channels. I expect the same would apply to other niche outlets.

The Guardian will often carry a headline that the Mail barely acknowledges and vice versa.

None of these outlets including the BBC has a monopoly on what is the "News". Ultimately it is subjective however hard they try to be impartial.

Same doctored clip used on Newsnight, 2 years before Panorama. Newsnight were advised at the time, the clip was inaccurate but powers that be chose to ignore.
Another BBC boss has agreed that their coverage of the Trans issue over last few years, has not been impartial. Oh dear
