Wolves sack Pereira after winless league start

They've been rubbish and are going down whoever they get. I can't even think of who's around currently. Poor squad, poor recruitment, lack of investment for a while, no ambition. I know the fans are passionate about their football - but let's tell the truth, they're rough enough. I won't miss them.

The obvious candidate is the Greek undertaker Postecoglou "Why is everyone blaming me just 'cos we ain't won a game in three months" is the Greek chorus. A marriage made in heaven. 😆

If I were them, I'd appoint someone committed to the club from within. But Ange could win the Championship next season if he went to Wolves and didn't get fired. Which seems unlikely enough.
 
Did Russell Martin already get a job? Or Rodgers? Was just trying to remember who's about. Not sure Rodgers would go there but not impossible. He seems to like reassurances on transfer funds. Martin would go there but that would not placate the fans. Nor would Ange. Frankly, just imagine for a moment Glasner left and we were told Ange or Martin were the replacement. I could just about accept Rodgers but the other two would have me fuming before they even started. I'd prefer Pardew and that is saying a lot.
Wasn't someone like Gary O'Neil ex-Wolves? I'm just making that up but could be correct. I think he's working anyway.
 
Wolves fanzine guy on the radio the other day saying they sold their best players and wasted the money on shite. If you do that in the PL you're f***ed.

Pulis might save them, that's about it.
 
The British Managerial Firefighter is a dying breed, I can't say who is there for them to grovel and offer a bumper deal to.

I feel sorry for the (ex) manager their recruitment has been terrible which worries me as that guy is now at Palace.

Not the case. He was relieved of his duties or pushed aside when o'Neil left.
His recruitment was actually very good but got pulled apart not fixed and now they are in ruins.

Hobbs may have signed cunha, alt-nouri, semedo, brun larsson, neto, andre etc. all of these are brilliant players. i heard that one of the problems this summer was that perreira was offered the chance to sign players with prem experience like david brooks but he chose lots of players from other leagues instead.
i know that we did similar but only one of ours was signed as a guarenteed starter.
