Horrific, there will be plenty of CCTV, the police have to make a statement on attackers asap. This type of thing used to happen in Continental Europe, now we have it.

No conclusion jumping until we have some facts, anyone who posts something along the lines of
" certain posters hoping the attackers are Islamists or illegal migrants " is a worthless POS.

We have reached a point where simple train travel is unsafe.
 
Wisbech will be on in a minute telling us that the perpetrator can't be black as black people don't exist.
 
It's those bloody Liberals and right-wingers going on the rampage again.

Either that, or a seating dispute that got out of hand

It must be a nightmare being trapped in a confined space with madmen.

I just hope the victims can recover from this.

I agree, how do we police thousands of train journeys every day. It is essential at the first police press briefing they tell the public the background of the attackers, assuming they know.

Any of us could have been on that train.
 
cue the Politicians lighting little tea-candles, dropping bunches of flowers and telling us that "lessons have been learned". Will the 'mental illness' card be played ?

And how fast will the wheels of justice spin ? i believe Magna Carta has a line about justice delayed is justice denied ?

From what I have read, BTP did initially put out their code word for a mass casualty terrorist attack but then later rescinded it.

Suspect the key to understanding if we get the mental health card bit will be found in this conundrum.

Because they would not have put that code word out without at least a semblance of evidence it was a terrorist related.

But Coulter's law is in full force on this one, no matter what we are told of motive.

This year I have been on that train 3 or 4 times already.

I feel for the passengers, nowhere to run or hide, get stuck behind a little old lady whilst some maniac is bearing down on you. You can't even defend yourself by picking up a chair or cushion.

Really scary.

BBS are already playing up the mental health aspect. If it is two people that is unlikely, one maybe but not 2.
 
If the initial photo released of the attacker is some angelic one taken when he was in primary school, then you know we are being played. Again.
 
Sorry for jumping to conclusions but I posted about this attack last night on the immigration thread.

Media very reluctant to say it was a black man dressed in black. More details are being covered up as we speak

Suspect they are dusting off the Southport playbook on this one. It's all about that first photo of the attacker that gets released.

They will struggle to use the mental health card if there was more than one suspect, as initial reports have suggested.

They probably arrested somebody who tried to stop him. Or perhaps yelled nasty words at him as he was stabbing somebody.
