...... ends at 2am tomorrow morning, so don't forget to put your clocks BACK one hour tonight and enjoy that lie-in.

I’m off to catch a flight at 4am so definitely need to remember the clocks, although the important ones, i.e. our phones do it automatically. We’ve only got two proper old clocks in the house as apposed to my father in law who’s got 27 😳

So much for change.

Many people will experience negative changes in mood and health due to less light particularly going home in the late afternoon early evenings.

The winter months already feel like living in the dark, this is quite unnecessary.

It is really a ridiculous anachronism from WW1 a different age.

😎

I was looking at the TV programming schedule for Channel 4+1 at 2am and thanks to this archaic ritual of clocks changing I truly can't work out if I am going to be watching things on +2 or a net offset of zero, presumably making a Groundhog Day experience of Grand Designs or World's Biggest Bollock.

That said, I won't be awake and watching telly anyway and I just wanted to be angry about something.

You should do yours at 07.06 😁

Bin it, it's f***ing pointless.

I remember reading somewhere (some years ago now) that the daylight savings initiative saved industry (£) millions in energy related costs (heating / lighting) well the price of energy certainly hasn't gone down in recent years.

Mind you the amount of industry we have in this country now is certainly reduced.

The fact that all your electronic devices automatically change, makes it likely that the earlier Dawn will get less vampires than previously.

Nosferatu was very unlucky to not have had an iPhone on him

BST was originally the idea of a chap from Petts Wood called William Willett which also gave rise to the the local boozer called The Daylight Inn.
For all you quizzers out there, Mr Willett was also the great-great grandfather of Coldplay's Chris Martin although it's not thought that either of their songs Clocks or Daylight have any connection.................
