He barely touched the ball, but made one excellent run, controlled the through ball superbly and hit a powerful shot that was well blocked by a defender
At the beginning, the commentator said that there were five attackers out of the squad so still unlikely he will make the WC. Shame as he would probably be Kane's backup for England

They don’t look a bad team at the moment, one home nation I don’t mind, I hope they qualify, unlike the taffs and the jocks, I hope they fail miserably 😇🤣
 
Pino starts for Spain tonight, got to be Palace’s first full Spanish international I would have thought, not that there’s been many, but I cannot think of anyone else

Anderson is a decent enough player and has had a couple of good performances against mediocre opposition . Watching him he needs at least one extra touch before releasing the pass

Wharton just sees everything quicker , plays the ball first time and gives the forwards the extra yard if they anticipate correctly . Thats the difference between winning and losing against the top sides in the later stages of a WC .

I believe they should both be in the England squad
