Sometimes FH, I really think you should've been in 'Journalism'. Wasted with what you're doing. 😉🙂😆
Yes, and introduce digital ID to assist.I see police are to be given new powers to stop repeat protesters. I think this is the breaking point of the removal of civil liberties. Now the police are even more politicised in being able to chose the protests they do not permit, and then intervene.
I just feel the inevitable slide towards a police state, where everything about the individual is monitored and action taken on words, speeches, protests and gatherings.

Police to get broader powers to crack down on repeated protests
The move is not a ban on protests but "about restrictions and conditions", Shabana Mahmood tells the BBC.www.bbc.co.uk
"The Home Secretary told the BBC the move was not a ban on protests but "about restrictions and conditions".
Mahmood told the BBC's Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg programme she accepted Jewish people who are angry with the government can be justified in doing so."
So successive Government failures have led to this point. So blame the public and restrict their activities by police force. Disgraceful.

I didn’t suggest he was! That's ridiculous. He's not in any way a sympathiser of ISIS, quite the opposite.
He has pointed out and criticised how the west and Israel had covertly funded and supported ISIS as a means to remove Assad from power in Syria.
The state doesn't like being called out for its crimes and the state doesn't like Galloway.
What total nonsense. Some excellent points, but there is no 'slide' towards a Police state. We are in it. I think this is a crucial distinction people need to grasp. All that matters now is how increasingly draconian it will become. The people driving it will never back down nor give up the sense of empowerment it offers.
The only solution is a complete dismantling of our entire justice and political system. There is no fixing it.
All of us?What total nonsense.
Our police do their best to keep the peace for all of us. That’s their job. Our responsibility is to abide by the laws our representatives have decided we need to give us that peace.
Of course you can dismantle the system and replace it. Provided enough agree with you. You cannot impose your wishes on the rest of us.
correct Eagle.there is no 'slide' towards a Police state. We are in it.
I mentioned my objections to an Id app and how the government could track you. One of the Uniparty (it doesn't matter which one) has now proposed that the police can use facial recognition cameras in public places without notifying the public.correct Eagle.
UK, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand.......... loads of new sneaky laws being brought in.
- compulsory purchase of your home
- face masks
- recording and video evidence
- allow the State into you mobile phone
etc etc........
Google reckons London already has 942, 562 cameras (1552 per square mile) and those out and about are filmed an average of 300 times a day.I mentioned my objections to an Id app and how the government could track you. So people who said I was exaggerating about the state tracking people?
That’s their job! That some individuals fail to uphold the standards is inevitable in big organisations. When discovered they are disciplined and/or removed. Racist attitudes exist and can be found in many places, including police forces, football fan forums and political parties. All of us?

You really hate anything that benefits the majority if you decide you don’t like it personally! Just obey the law and there’s nothing to fear.correct Eagle.

- compulsory purchase of your home
- banning face masks
- recording and video evidence
- allow the State into you mobile phone
- digital money
- 15 minute cities
- disallow granny to live alone in her big house
- specially-protected groups and classes of people in society....RiP Equality
- Hate speech laws
etc etc........ Governmental over-reach. Unpopular and undemocratic stuff.
That'll be a huge comfort to those wrongly imprisoned. That’s their job! That some individuals fail to uphold the standards is inevitable in big organisations. When discovered they are disciplined and/or removed. Racist attitudes exist and can be found in many places, including police forces, football fan forums and political parties.
What on earth does any law abiding citizen have to fear from the use of new technology that enables the police to catch criminals?I mentioned my objections to an Id app and how the government could track you. One of the Uniparty (it doesn't matter which one) has now proposed that the police can use facial recognition cameras in public places without notifying the public.

If provable it could be as it would be a great way to win an appeal. That'll be a huge comfort to those wrongly imprisoned.
That's alright then. What if it's not provable and there is no appeal? If provable it could be as it would be a great way to win an appeal.
I think it's the lack of oversight that is the issue.Google reckons London already has 942, 562 cameras (1552 per square mile) and those out and about are filmed an average of 300 times a day.
Who knows? Maybe they're doing a great job and the crime rate would be much higher without them and more people would disappear without trace.
When you have discovered the way to a perfect world no doubt you will be able to tell us.That's alright then. What if it's not provable and there is no appeal?
I have no objection to the police asking a judge for a warrant so they can track a suspected terrorist across London.
I've often heard that as a defence, Wisbech but it all depends who's making the laws, and what those laws are.You really hate anything that benefits the majority if you decide you don’t like it personally! Just obey the law and there’s nothing to fear.
Already done. It consists of ivory towers in which you can ignore everything that doesn't fit an agenda, dismiss newspaper reports as made up, video film as fake, personal experience as biased and opinions as influenced evil manipulators. When you have discovered the way to a perfect world no doubt you will be able to tell us.
