Immigration

It’s almost certainly Bluesky which has no connection to Meta.

It’s a privately owned, decentralised organisation which donates profits to the public good. It’s also properly moderated.

So it tends to attract those who don’t want to be associated with racists and bigots.
Not an echo chamber then.

What on earth are you talking about?

If that’s common sense I think you need to rename your club.
Sir, you have been very forceful in your views that protests outside asylum hotels have been met with counter-protesters who are local. Despite evidence on this site of white vans turning up with pre-printed placards being handed out by the anti-fascist league, counter-protesters in deepest Wales not being able to utter any words in Welsh etc. So rent-a-mob being paid by the hour to counter-protest just confirms concerns that genuine protests are being undermined by paid activists turning up to distort the scenario. I'll keep my name, thank you.

same problem in Dublin. Anglo-Antifa, tourists, screaming "whose streets ? our streets" while being incapable of a) pronouncing the street names b) finding said aforementioned streets without modern internet technology and c) having never even trod on such streets.
Of course, in Wales & Ireland we are very familiar with crusty English thicks who wander in and think they own the place.

The day after the Grenfell fire you could tell who was local and who wasn't. The locals had hand written placards, the rest were professionally printed ones.

Even Farage admitted that some of those “local” protesters were actually “bad eggs”.

Organised opposition to racism and fascist sentiment has existed for a long time. Countering extremism is an honourable activity, provided it’s done legally. I doubt whether anyone gets paid to do it though. It might surprise you but some people actually care about these issues, just in different ways to you. If you have evidence of payment, rather than innuendo, I would be interested to see it.

PM tells BBC he wants to change how international law used in asylum cases

That will take years however it is the job never started....

More interesting is Labour are now saying that they will stop asylum seekers having the automatic right to bring there families. I think this is a major pull, families pay for a son to do the trip then once he's here completed a home run the rest can be flown in through legal means.

If and it's a big if, Labour do this I think it will have an impact on the boats. So why didn't the Tories stop this?

Because Sir Keir kept quoting international law at them?

Well, to be fair to the tories they were very busy engineering a massive drop in disposable income that produced a £40 drop per month, you have to work hard to achieve that. That's why people recognised they were rubbish and were defeated at the General Election by the biggest defeat since 1945. no wonder the rats are deserting a sinking ship!

Yup.

Yesterday I was out buying meat (on a cave man diet) it's really expensive now so I went to Lidl who are normally way cheaper than Sainsbury's, they weren't.

Food prices have got ridiculous and Labour's policies have not helped.

The Two German retailers kept prices low until they were more established but are now content to sit a penny below the other supermarkets. Their margin in Germany is much lower than that made by food retailers in the UK. There really should be an investigation but Tesco is the biggest employer in the country and all politicians regardless of hue are very wary of causing an upset. Mind you those Mammoths take a lot of chewing all that hair.
