Does anyone know where Steve played in the latter stages of his career? I know he briefly went to Plymouth Argyle in 1978 and then to non-league Leatherhead in 1979. But I don't know how long he stayed at Leatherhead or where else he played non-league football. Any help would be gratefully received, as I am writing about the players from the Youth Cup wins in 1977 and 1978. Thank you so much.

I am of the belief that Malcolm Allison signed him for Plymouth.
Sadly Brennan is now deceased.

Yes on both counts. Allison would have known Brennan when he joined the Youth set-up at Palace circa 1974, so maybe that's why he signed him for Plymouth. But he didn't get to play many games there before moving to Leatherhead. What I'm really looking for is any information after that move.

And yes, he died in 2015, I think it was from cancer. He was only in his mid 50s, which is an obscenely young age to go.
