US Politics

When people resort to violence like this, it's sad and frightening, isn't it?

Political killings, assassinations, no matter who commits them are to be abhorred by anyone except the most twisted.

The assumptions on this site are incredible. What about ex-military?

What the truth is we just don't know.
Probably best if we trust your gut, of course.

The guy who waffles about 1930s Germany and Hitler is on here whining about assumptions!

Wow....talk about having the self reflective ability of a brick.

The lengths the perpetrator(s) have gone to is astounding. A very public assassination, which is likely to be politically motivated. There were possible other ways of targeting the man, with more certainty, but this was a very well publicised and attended event,...to get maximum exposure.
The thoughts and planning into this were very good indeed, aside from the fact you have to be seriously sick in the head to have been any part of this.
And the authorities are spending some of their resources , shutting down internet misinformation, and trying to keep the media on-side.
Because at first glance, this is a difficult one to solve, you have to wonder at the wider implications for politicians speaking at public events. (I went to see a political speaker 6 years ago in the UK. I went through a metal detector and was patted down before going in.
And Charlie Kirk, his family and friends, obviously this must be so much harder having to endure the additional media publicity.

Trump says,..."I think we have him" (echo) 🙂

How long before the suspect is found unresponsive in their cell ? and it's a 'him'

Noticable that cities have not burnt or any riots thus far. This should tell you everything you need to know.

And then compare and contrast to the drug overdose criminal a few years ago.

Those likely to riot for Charlie Kirk ? they are too busy at work today. Paying their taxes and being careful to never break the law. Plus they don't really wear the styles stocked at Foot Locker.

Why do you write that, Leftie?

Because you're talking about something you have no idea about, haven't looked into and are making dim statements about.

If you had read the thread you would have educated yourself but instead you just flew in at the end and talked waffle.....So you get the appropriate feedback for bottom set behaviour.

Trump has said it was someone close to him that turned him in, which to me suggests it was a 'random' killing as opposed to a 'hitman' Trump has also said he will attend the funeral.
Apparently a minister turned him in. Makes me doubt it was a liberal as they don't go to church.

Anyways all speculation we shall see soon.

This scenario never plays out in all the episodes of Columbo or Poirot that I've watched. It's always detective work that wins the day. Someone close has never dobbed anyone in all the episodes I've watched. But then they didn't have their eyes on a $100,000 reward for information.
Maybe the truth might come out. But likely to die in custody quite soon, I would have thought.

Oh, I see. So on a thread that is absolutely chock full of speculation about a subject no one knows about we are offered protected by the gatekeeper who accuses me of speculating about a subject I know nothing about.

Cheers. Thanks for the clarification.

Pick your toys up on the way out, if you don't mind.
