I was going to say Punk Rock most of it with obviously the odd exception hasn't dated particularly well neither for that matter has most of the Ska/Twotone stuff especially Madness.
TV wise Minder, I keep seeing reels on social media & it now looks very dated although there are still some laugh out load moments.

That trio of House of Fun, Baggy Trousers and Our House represent a high point in 1980s pop - let's face it, most of that era's music can be happily erased from the soundscape.

2-tone gave us Ghost town.

There must be something wrong with me as I still find M.A.S.H and Monty Python funny. Also 80s series are watchable in a different way now. You can watch The A-Team, Knightrider, Magnum PI as comedies now. And honestly somehow Kojak and The Rockford Files are quite fun to watch.

Alan Alda is a bit too earnest - the first new man - Donald Sutherland was a better Hawkeye in the original film.
Telly Savalas and James Garner made the other two and they're still charismatic actors to watch in those roles.

I bought a Big Trak in the charity shop and had great fun with it recently enough. Plus, CDs are making a comeback. If anybody has a Big Trak get it out and use it. Great laugh trying to navigate it through the rooms and making it fire off 99 times in the end.

Lee Majors does fantastic slow-motion fights. They seem to make less sense than the fights in The Incredible Hulk. Just grab a fecker and throw him miles away.

Plus a mention for the bongos/congas that play every time Lee Majors is in action.

Game shows!!

Back in the day when there was bugger all else to watch with our three channels and i was a kid, I could cope with one or two, the golden shot, blankety blank family fortunes etc.

But now we’re flooded with inane tedious tripe. A couple that immediately spring to mind are deal or no deal and tipping point, my god, they’re mind numbing. Game shows are definitely something that should’ve been left in the 70’s and 80’s

The only one I can really stomach these days is the 100% club, at least that takes a bit of brain power……..that’s why I’m s*** at it 🤣

I can imagine the nostalgia! Big Traks were sadly the preserve of my schoolmates with better-coined parents. But the few times I got to play with them at people's houses it was awesome.

I more than made up for the disappointment later in life with a midlife crisis penchant for remote controlled helicopters.
