I think he did a fantastic job. Obviously could could won a few more trophies but if we are being honest does winning a trophy give much more revenue? What was lifting the fa cup for us an extra 2.5 million? That just about covers player bonuses for winning the thing?

He built good revenue streams not just from football and they competed regularly in European competition like the champions league which i havnt checked but is good revenue.

on the subject of money, Merchandising is pretty important. T shirts, mugs, keyrings.

surely its a big opportunity for Palace in the US. Red, white and blue. Eagles. Maybe we should make a policy of recruiting other americans to play beside Richards ? Either recruit a quality american for the first team, or a Token face for PR purposes and the Carabou cup.
The folks in Philadelphia would quickly adopt a second 'Eagles' to be their Premier League soccer team.
