Pino

I wrote in last night's match thread that in his brief appearance he looked very promising. He made a couple of lively runs and smart passes. A clever purchase.

The boy will go far and might even become a new hero for Lanzo to adore.
Not just Lanzo. In a couple of weeks tattooists will be challenged to spell his name.

I know it's early days but I get the same feeling with Pino that I had when we got Cabaye.
I understand that.
  • No hesitation when he came on
  • got stuck in straight away
  • not afraid to run with the ball from the off
  • some clever passing
All in an encouraging cameo.

With Sarr and Wharton out, he'll no doubt be starting very soon - possibly against Sunderland (provided his injury isn't an issue).

Did I miss something? Did Pino also pick up an injury?

Seen reported felt discomfort in his ankle. So might be something minor or possibly worse
Luckily he's got until 13/9 to get over it. From another club it could look suspicious that Sarr is injured and we, sorry they, don't want to risk him. Not us of course, we're obviously above such things.
