Has Parish ruined this season?

Is it 'obsessive' to not want the most successful Manager in the clubs history to leave? 🤔

Yes, when it comes to slagging off your Chairman, who saved the club, in perference to a Manager who's leaving at the end of the season anyway. I'm not criticising Glasner, who has been great but people need to reflect on this:

One has the best interests of your club at heart.

One has the best interests of their career at heart.

I think I'm fairly supportive of the chairman, but allowing Guehi to walk without having a replacement player confirmed is pathetic.
It's not confirmed as I write this.

So Parish is immune from any criticism and anyone that does criticise him is obsessed with Glasner?

Make it make sense....

Deeply frustrated as I feel, I think you are spot on. But there is still that nagging voice at the back of my mind asking "what if we had backed Glasner fully in the transfer window" ? It also doesn't help your mood to see Forest spending vast fortunes for the 3rd successive year.

There’s always one fan, isn’t there? The one who shoots his mouth off at the club’s hierarchy. I bet if we had a Russian sugar daddy or a Thai consortium in charge, you’d be silent, wouldn’t you?
I reckon they'll be more than one if we find out Guehi has gone without a replacement coming in, Even though he's had a year to sort one out. Its laughable really.

Always one isnt there, why cant people understand our income isnt enough to go splashing cash in July, we have to hold onto players like Eze and Guehi to get the highest bid we can in order to then bring in new players. Once you get around that its more understandable and we do the best we can.
If this is the case why promise Glasner we would do early business and ensure we had replacements first?
Furthermore we seem worse off now than when we splashed out big fees and wages on Benteke, Sakho and Cabaye.
We didn't have to sell an Eze or Guehi to finance this.
This window has been a shambles however people choose to dress it up

Who said that?

You can criticise and but when others regard that view as flawed it's criticised in turn. That's all that's going on here, it isn't personal just views on football.

Personally I think the only real thing I regard Parish part guilty of is the failure to properly secure our Europa registration.....However, ultimately he can't control what a majority owner does with their shares.

Again, why are waiting until the last day of the window to do so much business ?

Things should have sorted out weeks ago.

Blitzer, Harris and Johnson should be asking some very uncomfortable questions at Parish, and whether he should be in control of the transfer windows.

They are all culpable not just parish

I am generally pro-Parish but I absolutely don't believe he should be anywhere near the acquisition of players. I don't think Glasner is the first manager he's p*ssed off if rumours are true.

Caveat that as a fan I am not privy to anything and can't necessarily take the main stream media as gospel.

Broken promises you have a point if true.

Worse off now than splashing big fees and wages on Benteke and Sakho? You having a laugh?

What do you mean we didn’t have to see Eze or Guehi? And to finance what exactly? You do realise we are Crystal Palace growing gradually and not a top 6 club? Hrolf is right, we need the new stand for more more revenue.

If they didn’t want it to happen this way they would have said 3 months ago or even years ago, wouldn’t they? So maybe overall they get best value this way? Yes? No?

I agree it’s difficult for managers though.
