I think everyone was expecting him to play it to the few players to his right, but he surprised everyone by playing the impossible ball to his teammate to his left. We will find out what that shows right now but it was exciting.

From his clips he seems to often play a short ball and move, a bit like Olise would, if that's the best option rather than trying to do it all himself. Not that he can't but helps with getting the ball forward more quickly.

I wrote in last night's match thread that in his brief appearance he looked very promising. He made a couple of lively runs and smart passes. A clever purchase.

The boy will go far and might even become a new hero for Lanzo to adore.
