Yourparty

Yourparty is a good name keep it simple.

Tory-lite labour are unaware of just how much the voters do not like them.

😎
It sounds kind of Asian. Very suitable.

Another option would have been the Blue Hair Surrender Commie Loony Asian Sleep Over Party.

That is inclusive of every potential voter.

Corbyn was one of, if not the main reason that Labour were not electable (or elected) during his time as Leader. That isn’t going to change for ‘Your Party’.

Corbyn seems to spout very similar views to your own, so why aren't you supporting him?

I think he’s a decent bloke and done a lot of good for a lot of causes, but he’s a natural campaigner/dissenter (and a very good one). I wouldn’t want him in charge of anything though.

Same with Farage on the right - good at tapping into the zeitgeist and pointing out issues/shouting from the sidelines. Would be an absolute shambles in any position of real power.

I know a lot of politics is shouting about current issues the country is facing, but I want someone with some realistic and credible solutions to them in charge.

Yourparty is cringe but as progressives are essentially a movement for liberal white women and the 'I didn't get on with daddy' soy boys it mostly fits perfectly.

I'd prefer the more honest, 'Eat The Rich' party.....with the amusing reality that most of the interns and researchers will be Oxford and Cambridge graduates.

Agreed on both Corbyn and Farage. There is a world of difference between being a great campaigner and being in charge and making the decisions.

Ghandi was a great campaigner but he had some really odd ideas for India, thankfully he wasn't interested in becoming PM.

so, no different to the last twenty or thirty years then ?

the last charismatic leader in the UK was Margaret Thatcher. And even she was a hypocrite who promised to 'get tough on (insert problem here)' while compromising and being soft in the background.

Not correct, Starmer polled fewer votes in last years election win than Corbyn did in his defeat in 2019, over 2 million fewer.

The bonkers electoral system worked in Labours favour for a change.

It looks better than it is, there are a lot of marginals including Streeting and Starmer himself would not need much of a swing.

😎

If this party is as jew hating as you are hoping for we shall see where their votes come from, closet jew hating Labour and Greens or the Muslim vote.

I agree there are a number of seats where a shift in the muslim vote will oust quite a few Labour MPs

This really. And 2017, Corbyn led Labour got 40% of the vote. This is going to hurt Labour. Stupid name, not withstanding.

The greens have a Muslim MP, they've hit a realisation wall because he's refusing to endorse all their LGBTQ+++++++ and other green fringe groups that don't meet Islamic values.

Their surprise is amusing.
