By Palace's standards we have conducted our transfer business with considerable haste.

Time will tell how clever we have been. For me, Oscar Mingueza, Takehiro Tomiyasu, , Anan Khalaili and Xavier Gozo are unknown quantities. Hopefully at least a couple of them will prove to be astute buys.

next round of the league cup should see all the fringe players get a run out. Will be interesting how they get on.

I'm hoping Gozo and Franca can offer us something different this season, if only as impact subs.
