Must admit that I have found the furore about the BAFTA's absolutely hilarious. I really enjoyed the movie "I Swear", which often extracted the awkward hilarity of John Davidson's totally inappropriate but involuntary comments. The whole point of the movie was to improve understanding and support for sufferers of Tourette's and to ensure that we could understand and even find humour in the uncomfortable situations resulting from the condition, rather than take offence. The po-faced response of the luvvies and the liberals is just so funny. Can't they just appreciate that what is likely to come out of John's mouth is the most inappropriate thing that his brain can conjure, and understand that is what Tourettes means for him ?
