Who was this player?

On Saturday, watching the match, I was wearing what I now consider my lucky shirt. But who wore it?

It's a plain red , cotton, rugby-style shirt, with a white collar and long sleeves.

On the front is TDK, which I understand places it from '93 - '97. Also on the front is a sewn a Palace eagle crest badge on one side and the number 48 on the other.

On the Back is written Adidas in white.

Who is player 48?

Any ideas?

The only No. 48's listed on Transfermarkt are Ashley-Paul Robinson (07/08), Conor Dymond (15/16), Jack Wells-Morrison (21/22) & Luke Plange (22/23).

I have no idea why and I’ve not found any evidence of this, but as soon as I see this Paul Warhurst sprang to mind. It might just have been a player that jumped into my head when I started looking at TDK kits from that era

The badge looks like the year we went up in 97. Alan Smith always used to wear rugby tops like that, but 97 sir Steve was gaffer.
Very intriguing!!
Intriguing indeed.

I love it: proper Palace retro and apparently unique.

Any more info from anyone would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for all the input so far, chaps.

Obliged 👍😊
