For me, it's the claret and blue pinstripe with yellow cuffs from 1970 and the admiral sash from '79. The latter wasn't nice material, but it looked great. More recently, the Puma home kit from 19/20 was very nice.

That one is right up there. The similar away shirt from a few years back was nice too. I like the old pinstripe from 1970 because it was the kit Palace wore when I first started following them.

yellow, YELLOW!!!! It's 'primrose' I'll have you know, get it right mate!😉 That kit and the original 73-76 red and blue, the Don Rogers, the Lombardo with AC Milan style white shorts and stockings, and the red and blue don rogers of 15/16 when we beat Mourinho's Chelsea. Most hated - Goldberg's all red with blue trim, wasn't keen on those early 90s nearly all red kits with one or two blue vertical bars either - but like the 1990 cup final kit, had enough blue. And I like royal blue not the lightish shade we've got now. Don't know why we don't play in red socks for the final.

forgiven, I got stuck on the shade, having re-read your post I am in full agreement re claret and blue and the first version of red and blue. I liked the dark blue socks with the white and red trim.

Yes, agreed, but i remberer that the collar was very tight, mind you i was only, 8, and i had/have a fat neck 🤣
I also see that with your excellent attachment, it dosent have all of our favorite strip, the glorious, one use only, Yellow and Black striped kit. 😱

It was a bit unforgiving but it was good enough for The Don so that's enough for anybody. My wife got me one a few years ago & it'll be on for the final.
The 37/38 kit was surprisingly red & blue but I don't remember any talk about heritage shirts when we switched from claret & blue.
