I rember the pool fans singing outstanding Sainsbury’s. Watched for ages and it was quite impressive. Also emptied the shelves of booze I think 😀

I spent four years in Northallerton in the late 1960`s. The first lad who befriended me at school was a `Pool fan. Went to a good few Hartlepools United games (as you were called back then) with him and his dad.
Been my second favourite club ever since.

Seem to recall we raised some cash when we met at Selhurst in 2022, but regret to say I can't remember now who it was for. Some poor soul was needing medical treatment for cancer if memory serves.

our then managers wife,who has a rare form of cancer which is very expensive to treat.
It was a great gesture & rounded off a brilliant weekend,spent mainly with Palace fans in the Wetherspoons.
