Yes unfortunately he allowed it to go to his head.

He reffed us a couple of times and was awful one of those refs out of the Clattenburg school "its all about me".

I have a vague recollection of Rooney running about 30 yards to foul one of our players and Rennie doing little about it. Just a memory so maybe wrong.

He was a terrible ref, but it's sad to see someone go that young.
