Train strikes: Drivers could make fresh pay demands six months after latest offer, says Aslef chief

I just read a clickbait article saying that the train drivers union are miffed that some mangers got £2000 bonus for keeping the trains running during strike action so the union members are going to go on strike again for 22 days ( spread over a number of weekends) to make up for it -

If its true, whatever sympathy any of the general public might have had for them will surely diminish & it makes the Government of the day look ridiculous for the deal that they negotiated with them.

Well at least they negotiated ha ha.
It wasn’t just the money that meant the tories told these to f*** off. Trying to get more bang for your buck with cutting out Spanish practice and all that goes with it.
Clearly labour caved in within 2 seconds and will now have strikes continuing.
Well done 2 TK you knob head.

The unions tend to strike more when there is a Labour government, they see them as an easier touch. Similarly they strike more in public services and nationalised industries for the same reason and because, unlike private employers, they can't go bankrupt and close down.

Labour must know that the railways have more than one union. They will always want the same and create chaos to get it.
