The Tories have suffered many bruising bumps on their descent from government to a 110 M.P.s many of who have jumped ship to Reform after the last year,the latest effort at resusitation is a shuffling of the deck chairs on the Tory Titanic as it lists badly in icy waters. A shadow government re-shuffle,which is an admission that things aren't working as they are, this is Badenoch (Willo did not vote for her) not doing the right thing and going but like David Brent "its not me it's the staff". Apparently they are staking there hopes on James Clever clogs, good luck with that.You know the idiot who made a bad taste rohypnol.Thank god he is back he makes geniuses of us all.

The Tories have been pretty hopeless ever since Dave painted himself into a corner over Brexit.

Having Badenoch as a leader is proof of how far that Party have sunk.

If you have the view that a re-shuffle is a sign of things not going well, which I agree actually, consider this ; Starmer reshuffled his Shadow Cabinet five times: in June 2020, May 2021, June 2021, November 2021 and 2023.

Labour are currently a hapless Government with only a feeble opposition.

A role reversal pre July 24
 
Apropos the forthcoming "Refresh" what was originally meant to be limited with most of the changes planned for September now has the potential not just to be a shuffling of the deckchairs, but bringing some fresh,new faces around the shadow cabinet table.
This could include the 2024 intake of MPs who are untarnished by the actions of previous Conservative governments, alongside more seasoned MPs who never found themselves in a ministerial role or quite made it to the top of their departments.
I would not be surprised if the likes of Matt Vickers, Gareth Davies,Neil O'Brien, Nick Timothy, Katie Lam,Harriet Cross etc etc gained a promotion.

Sometimes it is just a Minister has got caught with his trousers around his ankles. It is hard to see a Tory re-shuffle with not many to choose from We might lose Willo as waffle minister.😎

What labour should try, there is enough time. is being a labour government.

I think the public has marked labour's card already, they are just getting more of what they wanted rid of.

They have been pretty hopeless since Thatcher stepped down.
