RIP Tony Slattery.

I used to enjoy watching him on Whose line is it anyway?

Although he was gay him and Josie Lawrence always use to flirt a lot on it which was quite funny.

Heart attack at 65 years old.

Luck of the draw. I had one at 45 and still here today nearly 80. Consider myself very lucky !

He was a very sad case. I saw him a couple of years ago in the audience at an Edinburgh festival show (not hard there were only about 6 people there) and didn't recognise him. He looked really rough and went through a half bottle of Scotch in about 20 minutes. The bloke doing the show introduced him afterwards but he didn't really know where he was.
Hope he's found some peace.

At his peak in the early 90s he was on telly so much, much have been working 7 days a week doing so many shows. Then he just vanished. I guess he burnt himself out. Sad end to a real talent.

Used to see him in The Alexandra in Clapham every now and again. Probably 30 odd years ago when he was on the telly.

He featured in a documentary Stephen Fry did about bipolar disorder. Something I was under the impression he used booze to supress as best possible.

RIP Tony, hope he has found some peace.
