The Spurs Meltdown

I saw that Spurs were in trouble a while back .Players calling out the managers tactics and club transfer policy wasn't a good look .Fans booing the team off every game . A couple of decent results in Europe have given a false reading of where they are .

Where they are is deep in the do do , poor owners , poor manager (gone) , and poor players who don't look like they have the fight in them to do anything but go through the motions .

A new manager might give them a bounce ,might ,but one things for sure as we move into the business end of the season Spurs are well in it . Its going to be an almighty scrap that we need to keep clear of with a couple of wins this week

We let those idiots beat us though didn't we?

Rather nice to see Spuds in trouble, if only because they've got such naughty fans.

I hope they flirt with relegation for the remainder of the season, before succumbing to the drop in injury time on the final day.

Wet Spam, I'd be happy to see drop, but Spuds is a slight preference

Which good manager who is currently out of work, would want to be employed at such a mess of a club ?

Where did they finish last year? This is about right for them.
They beat one of the worst teams ever by a jammy goal in a final. And nearly got relegated. That's about it. We could quite easily argue that we're a lot better than them. A lot of the Spurs stuff is pandering to their stadium. As is West Ham. Can either really afford to go down? Can the Premier League afford that?
There's plenty of evidence to suggest that the whole of football is corrupt. The decisions, week in, week out point to that. As do the "charges" and their outcomes. It won't take a couple of years for say Palace or Brentford to have points deducted. More like a couple of minutes. It's a con. I try not to think about it as the Premier League is a bit of a farce. The refs and VAR can only be this bad on purpose. Any other explanation seems tenuous.
