Without your selfishness, we wouldn't be celebrating tonight. We wouldn't have our first major European trophy, we wouldn't be preparing for another season of European football. We may have had some fun in the Europa League but Villa won that fair and square, next season we'll be ready for it.

We better make sure Forest are aware of how grateful we are next time we play them. Great big banners and tifos with the trophy being held aloft by Glasner and the Leipzig Legends. Remind them that it could have been them.

According to the guide on the Selhurst tour when we played Brighton last season the FA Cup was put on display in the directors lounge, for Brighton`s directors to see. I trust when we play Forest next season we will have the Conference trophy suitably on display.

We haven't heard yet what our punishment will be for the anti UEFA chant repeated at every home match and implying that Mr Marinakis was slightly overweight and his parents were not married. I doubt that EUFA can ignore such blatent breach of its rules and hope it will just be a fine and not a ban from its competitions.

Not sure if this is tongue in cheek. What rule has actually been broken? If one has why hasn’t it been already dealt with ?

If we unveiled a banner different then it would be a fine only , but don't worry they will look at it lol

Like Marinakis decided anything, we would have been chucked out the competition regardless, the rules were clear, the club was at fault, time to get over it.

I am over this now. At the end of the day our owners were to blame. They didn't get their act together and were bad at admin. Whatever role Forest had on this we will never know the complete truth, it's all speculation.

My main gripe is with UEFA. Like Parish I am convinced that had this been a big club, a Chelsea or a club with Milan or Madrid as part of their name then UEFA would have found a way that would have allowed that so called big club to compete in the higher competition. The blind trust thing is a complete nonsense too, it wouldn't stop an owner having influence in some way shape or form behind the scenes.

Time to move on from this now. Let's just focus on the achievements of our team and finish this spat with Forest. I don't like their owner too but always found their fans to be pretty decent.

No badly applied rule
With respect there was a rule and we broke it. A couple of other clubs who fell foul of the MCO criteria got kicked out completely as did a club in the Club World Cup who broke similar FIFA rules.

Like I said earlier I think had it been a club bigger than us then UEFA would have done their best to find a workaround or compromise.

Anyway what's done is done.
