Try Dorada Especial. I never really liked any Spanish beer until I tried that

Spanish San Miguel is a nice beer. The shite brewed in Stockport is undrinkable piss.
The global companies buy out the local breweries and ruin them.
Mahou is lovely - no doubt it will be ruined once they start brewing it in The UK.
If in Murcia order Estrella de Lavente- only sold in that region and a malty lager that is bliss.

I don’t like san Miguel in Spain either, always estrella for me, I’m off to Spain again in June so I’ll have to try Mahou. Not that I drink a massive amount these days, but I like a beer or two with my evening meal after a day in the sun, just not san Miguel.
I know what you mean though, I enjoyed Super Bock when in Portugal, but I bought some when I got home and it just didn’t taste the same.
