Tariq Lamptey

Lamptey has played as a right wing-back in a 3-4-3 formation at Brighton.

He is really fleet of foot and some while ago was recorded as the fastest player in the Premier League.
Certainly possesses attacking qualities but is short in stature and a few years ago Souness expressed the opinion that because of his size he might get 'Pinned' by attackers preventing him from heading the ball.

He wasn’t overly impressive against us recently for our second goal, but as already said, with his pace, better going forward

True but probably not that important. A defender who's 5'4" won't be out jumping many strikers anyway and might, might, be more protected by VAR.

Agreed, most unlikely. I expect us to soldier on with Clyne as Munoz's back-up until the end of the season. If Imray does indeed go to Wycombe and shines there as he has at Bromley, he may well become back-up for Munoz next season (assuming we are able to keep Munoz)
I think that may be the problem, i think he has probably gone above Wharton as our most sellable asset
