taking it to the wire again

Frustrating that we take so many incoming transfers down to the wire every window. Lots of clubs are done and dusted with new players having already debuted. Surely the funds from Olise, Andersen and Ayew could have been invested back in the market quicker. Dougie seems to be one of the best at finding talent but he and Oliver must be pulling their hair out about how tortuous it seems to get players over the line.

How many days ago did Andersen and Ayew leave? We knew Olise was going and signed Kamada early. We suspected a centre half might leave so signed Riad early. We signed Sarr before Ayew left. Just let Dougie get on with it.
