We’ve sung this often enough and currently it’s true. But historically not so true - until now. With our FA Cup win we equal the achievements of Charlton and Wimbledon.
Another milestone is reached next season when we equal Charlton’s 26 seasons in the top division of English football (Wimbledon 14, Millwall 2) In terms of the Premier League we have now achieved 16 seasons, double that of Charlton and Wimbledon.
Hopefully, being no.1 in south London will continue for ever and we can start setting our sights higher.
