Apologies if this has been posted before, but can anyone tell me why there is two different designs of home shirt this season. One where the eagle pattern is a lot more prominent (boardering on purple) and with embroidered macron and palace badges. I have both and the difference is significant. Thanks in advance.

Are both of them authentic? There's a lot of variation on the "unofficial" replica market (some of these have embroidered badges too), but I thought the official ones by macron were pretty consistent.

Now you say it, I have checked and I would say that one is a knock-off. It’s just that I’d seen so many people wearing them throughout the season I just thought it was a variant. Thicker blue stripes, glossy margin logo on arms and a wonky sponsor.

Appreciate you replying to me on this. Yeah, agreed - oh well, I’ll add it to the collection anyway. Plus you can never have too many palace shirts with a gold “Winners 25” on it!

No worries, and agreed - as macron are all sold out now I'm planning to buy a 25 winners kit on ebay and as long as it's red and blue has a passing resemblance to the official kit I'm happy 🙂

Looking at the Macron website, those two shirts are both knock-offs.

I'm looking for one but doubt any of those 2024/5 offered are legit. I'll wait....

Thanks Eagleman - this is a 3rd type then when considering the colours/width of blue and label design. Oh well, not really important but I appreciate everyone's contributions to the thread. COYP.
