Good to see Uche START in so far as a real 'step-up-to-the-plate' moment. A MUST-win game for Palace tonight.

He's gone strong

Was sure Wharton and Kamada would be the preferred choice for Man City and rested

Pleased for Sosa and Uche to get a start. Benitez too. Good to see some more of the squad getting a chance - though shame when it's due to injury

Perhaps a defining game for Devenny

That might makes sense as Hughes and Lerma's superior defensive traits and ball winning ability can be ultilised against Man City. Although I still expect Wharton to play that game, as fast transitions and killer passes in traffic will be key. Best case, we go a couple of goals up early and Wharton only plays 45.

So we're starting the match a lowly 21st, but a big win could take us into the top 8 if other results go our way 🤞

I think Sosa's played on both flanks for his previous clubs, I might be mistaken but I seem to remember reading something like that when we got him.
Sosa is very left footed.
Of course Devenny is too, but Glasner has used him on the right side previously which is why I think he may play almost as a withdrawn right winger.

Devenny isn't good enough there's a reason hes being shunted into WB. Hes middle of the pack championship level at best
