Apologies to mods as I am sure there must be a previous thread.
So what odds on her return? Before he decide just near this in mind. The Attorney General appointed by 2TK was Begum’s counsel in her appeal who had argued she should not be excluded from the UK.
I am going for odds on.
For anyone who believes she was totally innocent when she travelled, watch the video on Sky news in 2019, she admitted she knew about the beheadings etc but she was ok with it.
Come one, come all

Her complete lack of remorse made her repulsive. A young girl who’d been following some juvenile romantic dream and realised she’d been wrong, recognising ISIS for what it truly was, would have been forgiven.

Out of interest DAK what happened to her two companions?

One was reported to have been killed and the fate of the other one is unknown, so far.

I seem to remember in the early days of the discussion about her situation there was an issue as regards her current & any future status, in so much as somewhere in the legal documentation there was a caveat that a country could not cancel someone's national status if that action left them "stateless" SB also held a Bangladesh passport (by virtue of her mothers birth right, I think) but SB wasn't born there, had never even visited & about 5 minutes after discussions started Bangladesh issued a statement saying she wasn't a citizen of their country & wasn't their responsibility.

Somehow we have cancelled her citizenship (quite rightly so) but for whatever reason the matter clearly hasn't ended there -

Quite how someone can take up arms against the country (or support those that do) & still think that they have citizenship claims is beyond me, I think that this is going to become one of those landmark cases where any outcome is going to be used as a legal benchmark going forward.

If the Government wishes aren't upheld because of any pre - existing legal stature you can only assume that about 5 minutes after any final verdict there will be moves by the Government to change the law so that it doesn't happen again.

I would be amazed if she was allowed back. Even though I think Starmer thinks she should be, he knows what the outcry will be. She would also be a marked woman.
The fall of Syria into the hands of competing factions has all the hallmarks of another Iraq s*** show and the camps holding all these ISIS terrorists could be liberated by the fundamentalist groups.
I believe both her mates were killed by air strikes.

I don’t think Starmer gives a s*** what the public think/wants. She will return, be made some sort of heroine by the left, get a mega book/film deal, copious amounts of tv interviews. I have never believed she was groomed and was totally innocent, despite her age. She was old enough to use her sisters passport to check in for flight and pass security checks. The interview is very telling.

All appeals have been exhausted. I must say I was surprised that she had not been allowed back and the original decision upheld. All I can say is, from my experience, there must be some concrete evidence that she was involved in some very unpleasant things. Revoking Citizenship is not a decision taken lightly

ok then. Well she IS a uk citizen and also a Traitor. At least 40 years in jail is my vote.

follow the link below. Women can often be the fifth column. The enemy within. And weak Governments get the behaviours they deserve. Just another 'victim' who will likely be a drain on the taxpayer.

"Western woman travels East to be with radicalised political man" - it never seems to happen in the opposite direction ? "Muslim woman travels Westward to be with BNP-type man" ? What would the media make of That story ?

During 'The Troubles' many fellas got crucified for membership of a terrorist organisation. Often based upon the flimsiest of evidence. Ownership of a black balaclava or a few rebel posters for example.

you do not need to catch Begum with a bomb in her hands. But you do, somehow, need to send a message to the next generation of young girls. Girls who are considering skiing off piste with their romantic & political lives.

With the current government, you all truly believe she's still abroad? She's got a new identity and is living the high life on taxpayer's money somewhere in Birmingham.
probably somewhere expensive like Knightsbridge or Kensington ? and as for getting pregnant again ? no comment.

if Shemima Begum turns out to be a drain on the taxpayer then fear not. The UK has a disproportionately high amount of career-women who pay high taxes. Certainly compared to Hungary, Poland, Romania. And so Sharon ( who works for a Bank in the City ) will eventually go on to bear one kid at circa age 39......but fiscal policy ? the national-books will still get balanced.

The woman's place is in the home ? nope, maybe its in the Office.

Will Begum be working a high-flying taxpaying job anytime soon ? So much for the Social Contract.
