Season ticket resale refunds

Has anybody who has sent their details to the box office for a refund had a reply, acknowledgement, any sign of life?

I have had a look on the website this morning -

There used to be a mid season window for refund claims (I think it was Dec) now the site says no claims possible as its outside the window, but no details of the dates applicable to the window.

In the FAQ section - it says something along the lines of: If you are a season ticket holder refunds will be applied to the renewal of that season ticket - only in the eventuality that you do not renew your season ticket will cash / bank transfer claims be possible.

Whilst I appreciate that the club dont want money being transferred out & of course the administration hassle of the process, I would certainly prefer a system where you could also use that credit accrued against the purchase of say cup games tickets or merchandise -

For example I have about £60.00 in my ticket refund account, but have just paid out £15.00 for my Stockport ticket, I would have preferred to have been able to buy the Stockport ticket from my refund account. -

I have money in a refund account but there seems to be no way of accessing it or checking that it is accurate. It doesn't seem too much to expect that. Having said that, I do find the box office very hard to deal with. This is largely through them not responding to messages and when they do, not following up on what they offer/propose/agree to.

Surely, it can't be that difficult to set up a better, easy to access and use, resale system.

The resale window was only open for one week between 2nd and 9th December as per this email I received on 2nd December

You can only apply for refunds for family and friends if you are linked as Friends and Family on the ticketing system.

Thanks Doombear and if only they had sent such an email to me! My son has an account too and he never got an email either.

I'll try emailing and calling them but don't expect too much. In the spirit of the season, I will try and think of it as them saving it for me and it will be a pleasant surprise when it gets sorted!

yeah, got the email and submitted my details and surprise was credited to my account today, following advice from the box office telling me how much was due. The procedure back in June was more straightforward
