In our poor start to the season i thought Sarr looked like he would prove a poor signing. His touch, finishing and general awareness were way below premier league standard and the only thing going for him was his pace.
Over half way through the season he is the most changed player in our squad. He is now looking very tidy on the ball and often feeding the ball through to Mateta and linking up well with Munoz. His touch control and awareness are much improved. On the flip side his pace does not seem to be utilized as much as i would like. I would also like to see him take on his marker one v one as you feel there are not many who can live with his speed.
I guess the balance in his decision making might need to improve or do we feel it is part of the team play and he is asked to play the way he is. It is possible the space may be towards the Palace goal due to the threat of his pace.
Probably as well, he is a player better suited to when we play away as he will have more room to run into.
