Fellas training in the US military are always told to revere the office of the Commander in Chief - The President. Regardless of their personal opinions on whatever incumbent man is there.

The US is maybe the UK's number one ally. In terms of economic, military, cultural, Trade, and political influence.

Sadiq's decision to run a public feud with Trump. It sullied the office of Mayor and was a public embarrassment without any precedent. We expect any politician to be Statesmanlike and not given to petty childish behaviour. Around the backdrop of Brexit, the UK needs all the allies it can get. And Sadiq is sticking up two fingers at a US President ?

Then there is the bikini suntan-oil adverts on TFL. They seem to contravene Sadiq's modesty rules. Banned. We didnt vote for that. Religiously motivated policies. I would say i didnt mind the alcohol ban, but its all a pattern travelling in the same direction. What will be next to be banned ? gambling adverts ? dogs on trains ? or pork pies because some people find them offensive ? or people wearing a crucifix & rosary beads ?

Ed Gamble had to change the posters in the Underground for his comedy tour as it showed a big hot dog!! Although, from memory, the hot dog was relevent to the name of the show he had to change it to a big cucumber!!

i hope Trump messes with the tax-laws. And recalls all the tech multinationals from Dublin & Shoreditch. That will focus a few Lefty minds. Politicians on this side of the Atlantic need to show a bit of respect for Uncle Sam. Especially now that he has his shotgun back.

Apparently this went to a vote in the London Assembly. Labour, Lib Dem’s and Greens voted in favour, the (cowardly) Tories abstained and the loan Reform member voted against!!!

This is gonna happen!!! I wonder if crime on London transport will go up???
