It's more down to tribalism and easy to understand definitions. People don't like nuance. The media definitely don't.
It's a simple frame of reference, but one that obviously doesn't do justice to the complexity of real people.
Bread and circuses is hardly a new concept, but viewing everything as a conspiracy can be a bit much. Most people are lulled into indifference by being comfortable.

Criticising labels is fair enough, but then again nothing's perfect because language isn't perfect.

Humans are pattern recognition animals because that works best for survival but truth can often be more nuanced.

It'll only ever bother those that care enough about truth.....because there are a hell of a lot of people who don't care that much....and only when it effects them negatively.

Outside of trolling, which is a laugh and shouldn't be taken that seriously....On the whole I'm ok with labels that try to be honest and fair to people.

I am not Owen Jones and language needs to communicate that.
