Henderson, Lacroix, Richards, Hughes, Sarr. The rest are off in the summer it seems - Munoz, Guehi, Mitchell, Eze, Mateta, Wharton.

Strange when you consider Henderson, Lacroix and Hughes are arguably our 3 best players this season.

Thus, e.g., Munoz. I don't doubt we might lose him. A salary rise from £50k p/w to to £250K p/w and playing in the ECL. Who wouldn't go? But with at least 4 big clubs supposedly after him, where on earth do they get a valuation of £21m? Multiply that by 3 and there is your starting bid.

The current clickbait obsession with our players just indicates that we have quality players that other clubs eye with envy. That and there being no Premier League this week.

I thought Hughes was linked to a couple of clubs in the last window, West Ham was one of them maybe. But as Totoshkin says complete bollox, in all but a tiny % of these cases the smoke is from a machine and being blown up our ar$es, rather than coming from any fire.

Well there is a report that Munoz has a release clause of 25 million Euros.
None of us can know for sure , but it sounds feasible.
Players are mercenaries with greedy agents who make their money through shifting their clients.
Furthermore, it's not that long ago that even our own Chairman was expressing his surprise ( and some might say exasperation) that nobody had bid for Eze.
There's no loyalty in football other than with the fans, but there's little point complaining about it even if it leaves one feeling disillusioned about the state of the game.

Hughes was linked with Fulham, West Ham and one other team a few weeks ago. He has since been quoted as saying he loves it at Palace and would be open to signing a new contract.

TBF Will Hughes on a free would be great business for any team in the bottom half. Especially a promoted team.
