If we win the cup then he deserves it for not having gotten in the way.If we win the cup they can give it to Adi Akinbiyi for all I care.

100%. I really cannot understand how some people don't even have him in the consideration set. Makes me wonder what games they were watching. Lacroix, Munoz and Mateta get honourable mentions...but it's Hughesy all day for me.Will Hughes -no brainer!
Very much agree with the sentiment - definitely our most underrated player IMO.This season I agree with all of you... and none of you. Tough one and forced me to go all Clouseau.
I vote Mitchell. 8th best tackles in the league. Plays every game. Never injured. You only know how good he is when substituted by a seasoned England international.
You say that like it’s a good thing 😇😉😁Can’t really argue with any of the names put forward so far, the whole team has been amazing after that worrying start.
But I’m going for Lacroix, because he has grown steadily into that position through the season and has been absolutely immense in the last few games.
And he’s French, of course.
Yes. Bang on.Lots of great calls on this thread, and I was particularly pleased to see Silvertop suggest Mitchell, and others say the same. He is much maligned but is a fantastic defender, and is starting to qualify as a great servant to the club. However I wouldn't vote for him as his attacking has let him down a bit as a wing-back. Like others I love Munoz, but he had a horrible start to the season. Hughesy has been good but not been consistently influential enough for me. Ebs and Sarr outstanding at times but not that consistent, and I think JP hasn't been as strong as the 2nd half of last season. So for me it's between Guehi and Lacroix, and as Lacroix took several games to get up to speed, my vote goes to our captain Marc Guehi. I think he will be missed a lot more than many think if he goes. His performances have been outstanding, and he has been an example to others both as a leader on the pitch and as a man off it. I for one hope he stays but will always wish him the very best if he moves on.
Incredibly tight this year… my top 3 is sarr, munoz and Henderson!
I gave my vote to Henderson, saved us many times this season and I think we take for granted how good he’s been.. still remember the uproar when the club picked him over Johnstone!
