A testament to the triumph of human will over crushing adversity.

My personal favourites were the one legged Japanese cyclist, the 7 months pregnant archer, and the whole concept of blind javelin (!)

I have enjoyed the Paralympics much more than the Olympics, It just feels like there is a nice friendly atmosphere, everyone looks to be really enjoying themselves.
