parade attendance

considering liverpool had an estimated 1 million. im pretty sure we would have struggled to hit 50k with the length of the route?
 
yes agreed the scousers was longer but ours was 4 or 5 deep and both sides of the road also. How many were in the ground, as it seemed there was about 10,000 or more
 
I was watching BBC London News for the day of the parade. The report started "Hundreds of people turned out for the Parade. The next report was on the Arsenal Womens team parade that took place. That stated that "Thousands" turned out....

I thought that had to be a delibarate snub. There is no way you could say hundreds turned up, even from the footage they showed. Why would whoever wrote that want to misrepresent like that.

Well someone must have gained something...

Must have been at the very least 40k people...

i have to shout out to Chris H and his friend Fred. I just turned up to watch the bus go by. I couldn't get a ticket for Selhurst. My wife came along and we got talking to these guys. Chris was kind enough to offer us his tickets to Selhurt as he wasn't going to go in. We had a great time. Sat with Fred and met his family. It was a truly great day for us.
