Just imagine the convos going on in living rooms across Europe as fans will contemplate visiting Croydon for the first time! Should they stay an extra day and take in one of the many tourist attractions or best to go straight in and out? Its a tricky obe.....

I have always hated the idea of exotic pre season tours and I suspect most managers feel the same. I can remember Fergie complaining about some of United's far Eastern tours.

My preference is for Palace to stay close to home, a kick about in Spain is fine.
