Is there any reason for Nketiah's absence? I was just wondering if they are resigned to Edouard staying (he actually had one good run and lay-off in the highlights) and might hope that a desperate team e.g. Man U would take Eddie for the price we paid

Obviously, it was early pre-season and hot but just wondered if anyone seeing the whole game saw any bright sparks. Mitchell was woeful playing on the right side

The youngsters all did pretty well without being outstanding I thought. The first teamers all struggled at times, not just Mitchell. Not surprising as they had very little preparation,and the heat. Millwall looked a week or to more advanced physically . Yet we held our own , and the younger boys nicked a good goal. Edouard, was as ever a bit ineffective, but of course the above also applied to him. Someone else may have seen it differently but I thought I’d give it a go.

I missed the first 10 mins but Mitchell looked like the fittest in the first half, making a number of recovery runs and crucial tackles. The second half was a bit brighter my standouts were King, Ozoh, Jemide, Adaramola and Mustapha. I hope they get some minutes next season.

No, you didn't imagine it - hence my post - i.e. he seems to be experimenting with Ozoh as a CB. If it works in pre-season then we'll have more cover for that position.
